Beers For All Occasions

An Experiment in Social Drinking

The Beerologists

We are two women, each with a man’s name who met over a man (not literally) and bonded over cigarettes. Turns out we’re both bent in the writing, drinking, smoking direction.

  3. Hey guys I dont know if you’ve heard about the tasting nights the O’Sheas line of pubs is having but you really need to check it out. I’ll let them explain from their email updates:
Pint Nights: try a different beer each week and keep your glass from the brewery. Brendan’s is on Tuesday at 6:00, O’Shea’s is Wednesday at 7:00, and ours is Thursday at 7:00. Stop by O’Shea’s this Wednesday for the pint night and stick around for the Moo & Brew, a beer and cheese pairing in the newly renovated House Bar. We also do a Blind Tasting, get 5 different beers and try to pick the style. Earn points each week for the ultimate prize, a 3L bottle of Chimay! Check out our newsletter at http://www.osheaslouisville.com.

    And EVEN better:
As for the June 7th Great Flanagan’s Beer Festival, the tentative date for tickets to go on sale to email subscribers is April 27th, so start saving your money! We will have around 40 different CRAFT BREWERIES pouring 2-3 beers each, with a representative from each brewery in attendance to answer questions and chat with all you beer geeks (you know I say that with love, I’m a beer geek too)! Tickets will be $45. The event is 3 hours, with unlimited samples… yes, that means you can try all 80 beers without paying anything extra. I will send out more info with the exact breweries next blast, so keep an eye out!

  5. Big beer news, ladies… I hear Sergio’s World of Beers is moving into the old Butchertown Pub/Fusion location on Story Avenue. That’s right, it’s gonna be in MY neck of the woods!
